Note From The Director of Administration

FCA is the most amazing and flexible school I have had the privilege to be part of. All schools will tell you that they love the children. At FCA, our actions speak louder than our words. Our days are structured in such a way that each student is able to receive the specific instruction he or she needs. For example, a child may struggle to read, but excel in math. We will place that child in a grade-specific classroom, but send him to gifted math, as well as a reading tutor. Each individual is unique and we try to tailor the educational experiences of our students to meet those needs. All students attend Bible classes and we have chapel every Wednesday.

We offer in-house internships in early childhood education and plan to add internships in gardening/horticulture and finance in the fall. We can accommodate flexible schedules for those who wish to get a head start on college through dual enrollment and we will provide transportation whenever possible to both Gordon, and Southern Crescent Technical College.

We recognize the importance technology will play in the future of our children. Middle school and high school students will be assigned tablets at the beginning of the year. Those tablets will be available at the teacher’s discretion and will only have access to specific internet sites when they are opened by the teacher. The tablets are only to be used for school work.

What we require of our FCA families is that you support us as we strive to educate your student. From time to time we may request meetings with you or that you participate in fund raisers and field trips. Complete details will be available in the student handbook.

I invite you to come in and speak with me personally; my unbridled enthusiasm for this school is contagious. God willing, you and your student will join our FCA family.

Thank you,
Debby Jones
