The years your student spends in junior high are a bridge between the child he or she has been up to now, and the young adult who is emerging. Growth during these formative years is not limited to traditional academic pursuits. While formal schooling is crucial, we recognize the social, emotional and spiritual growth that will occur during this time. The faculty and staff of FCA glorify God by assisting your family in equipping students academically and spiritually for what lies ahead. We understand that each student is an individual with his or her own needs.
Our low student-to-teacher ratio of no more than 10-1 in middle school enables our teachers to spend extra time with students who may need a bit more help or encouragement. We offer tutoring for those who need extra assistance, as well as gifted programs for those who are ready for something a bit more challenging. Also, our students are not confined to age/grade-specific classes. If an 8th grade student is gifted in Math, he may be enrolled in 9th grade Algebra. Our middle school students spend time outside of the classroom participating in extra-curricular activities, Beta club, field trips, etc.
